The Malta Taxidermy Federation (MTF) will be organising its fourth edition of the Malta Taxidermy Competition and Show, on and between the 22 and 24 March 2024 at Montekristo Estate, Siġġiewi. This year’s event is being held under the auspices of MEP Alex Agius Saliba and in collaboration with the Federation for Hunting and Conservation – Malta (FKNK).
Besides the main Taxidermy event where birds and mammals works-of-art’ mounts will be exhibited, food, drinks and taxidermy related selling stalls, and a children’s play area will also be available.
During the afternoon of Saturday 23 March, MEP Agius Saliba will chair a workshop with the theme “The Challenges and Work in Brussels” with the participation of the FACE (The European Federation for Hunting and Conservation) Senior Conservation Manager, Cy Griffin, together with FKNK and MTF officials.
On the evening of Saturday 23 March, paying guests will attend the Awards Banquet during this private function. The general public and their families are cordially being invited to visit the event on and between the 22 and 24 March 2024 between 10:00 and 17:00 hours.
Interested taxidermy participants should contact the MTF (79612188) for the application Form and a copy of the relative procedures, regulations and categories. Closure of applications is Tuesday 19 March at 20:00 hrs. Late applications will not be accepted.
