FKNK’s Barn Owl Reintroduction Project Wins Prestigious European Conservation Award

The Federation for Hunting and Conservation – Malta (FKNK) is proud and honoured that the Barn Owl Reintroduction Project has been recognised with a prestigious award by the European Federation for Hunting and Conservation (FACE) in Brussels. As part of the FACE Biodiversity Manifesto, this project was named the “Best Reintroduction Project” for its excellent contribution to the promotion of biodiversity.

This award is a great honour for FKNK, especially since this recognition was chosen from among the European member associations of FACE. FKNK is grateful for this recognition, which further confirms our commitment to the conservation of the natural environment.

FKNK remains committed to promoting biodiversity and will continue to work diligently toward the successful implementation of the Barn Owl Reintroduction Project in the Maltese Islands.
