FKNK and Malta Chefs Society sign MoU

FKNK President Lucas Micallef, MCS CEO Dr Paulino Schembri and FKNK CEO Lino Farrugia

The Federation for Hunting and Conservation - Malta (FKNK) and the Malta Chefs Society (MCS) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to work together to promote sustainable culinary and conservation practices.  This partnership aims to support local chefs in sourcing and using sustainable game meat, while enhancing their skills and opportunities.


The FKNK has already demonstrated its commitment by supporting the MCS during the Malta Kulinarja 2024 culinary competition at Agrifair 2024, where the FKNK sponsored one of the main categories.  Both organisations are looking forward to a fruitful collaboration that will celebrate the use of ethically sourced game in Malta's culinary scene and promote a greater appreciation for conservation and sustainable practices.
