THE FKNK FILES AN APPEAL IN COURT AGAINST THE BIRDLIFE MALTA INJUNCTION MANDATE

5, April 2023, CIVIL COURT – FIRST HALL, The Federation of Conservation Hunters and Trappers (FKNK), has just presented an Appeal in which it was requested that the FKNK be authorized to participate and/or be allowed to make its submissions in the Injuction Mandate procedures that BirdLife Malta brought against the Government on 3 April 2024, that goes against the recommendation of the Malta Ornis Committee of 2 April 2024 and does not open a season for turtle dove hunting this spring.

This hearing will be heard on Monday 8 April, after the hearing was originally intended for 22 April.
